I've never been one to eat locally because there really aren't too many good places to eat out near me but lately a lot of small cafes have been making big breaks in my area. Annnddd I'm seriously excited to share the photos from this one! (If anyone has tips in night photography please for the love of all things good tell me) 210 Belmore Rd Riverwood NSW 2210 This is the love me tender burger and damn was that a good burger. The chicken was so crunchy but juicy on the inside and the bacon YYUMM.
The PINK COW! Another thing I love about this place is the creative names of all their meals. So obviously the pink cow is just a milkshake and they have a lot of other coloured cows too. I may or may not be guilty of ordering it just because I wanted to say pink cow but hey it was so worth it! Look at all the lollies on there, unfortunately a snake fell off in the waitresses' rush to get it to me. I was pretty devastated but the super bubbly frothy milk made up for it.
Unfortunately on the night I went, I'm not sure if they were under staffed or they normally run the place like that but service was quite slow. BUT BUT the waitresses were so so nice and lovely. You could tell they were doing the best they could and overall the food was superb so all in all great night!

Annndd the beach madness continues! To be fair though when I went it was the only 20°C day we've had in a long while. So here's 5 things to do at Bondi and pretend that Winter is over.

1. Check Out the Street Art

Up along the boardwalk of Bondi, just below the car park is a wall filled with art graffiti. You've probably seen the three shady pugs already (get it get it? Cause they all wear shades). ANYWAY these 2 are brand new ones I've found but judging from the wall they've been up for a while. I think what keeps me coming back to Bondi is knowing that the wall is constantly changing and new art goes up all the time!

2. Take the Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk

This is seriously the most scenic route. Hate jogging? Despise running? Well it doesn't even feel like exercise because you'll be so distracted by the view, besides there's usually so many tourists taking pictures in the middle of the path, its impossible to run too fast (that's what I tell myself anyway) ... I think I'm in need of a hair cut

3. Update your Insta with an Icebergs post

This is an absolute cliche but its such a given. With the 50 shades of blue, there's no way you could go wrong taking a shot of this. If you've already posted this photogenic location, there's plenty of other spots along the Bondi to Bronte walk that will give you the picture, everyone else will be jealous of. I think more than anything the best part is just sitting down and watching the ocean. It's so calming, I feel like I'm subconsciously meditating.

4. Lunch at Lush

So originally I had planned to visit the famous Brown Sugar but stupid me didn't realise famous meant a lot of people go there and as you can guess when we turned up twice it was packed both times. (note to you guys, if you want to try it make sure you book!) Instead we gave Lush on Bondi a go and definitely no regrets. I hadn't eaten breakfast so I could've just been hungry but I love it enough to recommend it to you guys :) You can read more about my lunch sesh at Lush here.

5. Finish with a bang at Ben & Jerry's 

Ayyee guess who's late to the party again! That's right after the watermelon cake has been around for ages, rose to fame and even collabed with n2 to make the Cake Smash, I've only now gotten around to trying it. After our little adventure at Brewtown Newtown (check it out), we weren't quite full an decided to hit up Blackstar Pastry. 277 Australia St Newtown NSW 2042

Obviously after a "productive" and "studious" study session, we all need a good feed. Since we were near Newtown we decided hit up a safe choice: Bretwon Newtown. I don't know if this is where the cronut originated but I was not leaving without trying one. 6 - 8 O'Connel St Newtown NSW 2042 Ah the all important cronut! Also known as a Brewnut here. We went for the Chocolate Crumble Brewnut, without realising we could chose more from the display cabinet which is a shame. For a first cronut though, it was pretty amazing. The crunch from the pastry already had me in high spirits but the crumble on top was to die for. So yummy! Definitely wanna come back and try more.

The dish in the background: Dukkah roasted Japanese pumpkin, poached chicken, quinoa, feta & broad bean salad, truffle hazelnut dressing. The pumpkin was ssoo good. It was sweet but the skin was so crunchy. And the drink: Egyptian Rose Tea.

The strawberry milkshake was pretty nice, it didn't have that artificial flavouring taste; just super sweet, the way I like it.

There are not very many times where I wake up early, willingly. Okay, there have been 0 times I've woken up early enough to see the sunrise voluntarily, so if I  see the sunrise at some point in my life it would definitely be by force. And what better way to do it than through volunteering! ... Okay that came out wrong. Through my uni I signed up to the earliest shift right by the Opera House forcing me to wake up at 5:30 am.      Opera House Bennelong Point, Sydney NSW  I have to warn you though I'm the height of a leprechaun so the angles are a bit hhmmm but enjoy my views of the sky that morning!

These last few weeks I've been desperately trying to escape the cold chill of Winter, so I headed down to the beach. Okay so it wasn't the most amazing idea; hair was flying everywhere, the water was so cold. Eventually I even decided to hide in a restaurant but what to eat at San Souci? It's a bit of a hole but I decided to give Bay Vista a go and wow it did not disappoint.  Brighton-Le-Sands  NSW  I don't know why but I found this on the adults only section of the menu? I'm fairly certain it had no alcohol in it, and they didn't ask for ID. No, I did not order it for the alcohol ... maybe ... Shhhh. The passion fruit was a bit sour for me but if you eat it with the meringue its perfect.
 The crepes are a great way to start since they're so light and fluffy.
Then the waffles are more heavy handed and filling. Bottom line is, dessert can absolutely fill you up like lunch
